On Wednesday, I attended an event in Parliament hosted by @CarersUK and @SmartEnergyGB to to learn about the digital tools, resources, and information that exist to support people with their unpaid caring responsibilities. Thousands of people in Romsey & Southampton North provide unpaid care to family members and friends on a daily basis – I can appreciate that it isn’t always easy and not everyone is receiving the support they need. It was great to speak with carers at the event about the challenges they are facing and the support that is available.
