I was very pleased to have been part of #FogFest23 in Salisbury the other week with local executive menopause coach Jo Ibbot. This event is always a great opportunity to raise issues and questions about the menopause with real experts.
There have been massive strides forward over the last few years in breaking down some of the taboo around discussing the menopause. Events like #FogFest have been part of that, but so have the efforts of local employers.
2 weeks ago I was at Bradbeers, where Rachel Cardy had organised the most amazing evening, which was packed with local women wanting to learn more about the menopause and how to access appropriate support.
This week my Select Committee has Ministers back in front of it to get an update on the work being done across Government to tackle workplace menopause discrimination.
