Yesterday in Parliament I spoke in the back bench business debate secured by my colleague Bob Seeley from the Isle of Wight.
Despite the very tight time limit as so many MPs wanted to speak I managed to raise some of the concerns that local residents and Councils have expressed to me about the consultation paper “Planning for the Future”.
The planned algorithm appears to punish those Councils who have already been delivering the needed housing, and it is time the Minister thought again.

And as I said in the Chamber I want as many local people as possible to respond so that the sensible voice of Romsey and Southampton North residents is heard loud and clear by Government.
