ecycledBy is a fantastic new initiative set up by local resident Ruth Spradbery to encourage people to wear pre-loved clothes and accessories with pride.
I met Ruth during last week’s late night shopping in Romsey and got to see a selection of the pre-owned items at Smith Bradbeer, and talk to her about her mission to encourage people to shop sustainably. It really is a very clever idea, and with second hand shopping gaining real traction through campaigns like #SecondhandSeptember, RecycledBy has potential to encourage many of us to think differently about whether “new to me” is just as exciting in shopping terms as “new”.
