The Bank Holiday weekend saw the return of the Memory Choir at Abbotswood Court for a brilliant singalong with Kim Garner in the garden. I am always amazed at how music can make those with memory loss come alive, and it was great to see so many of the residents singing tunes from Elvis, The Carpenters and some favourites from the musicals. I am afraid I was probably a bit out of tune, but it was a wonderful afternoon to be part of and great to hear Kim’s plans as to how she can keep choirs like this going in a covid-secure way.
