This morning in the House I asked the Minister for Disabled People about the charity Sign Health, which has been supporting BSL users in health settings through the pandemic with translation services. It is crucial that people with hearing impairment have the same access to health services and information, and this charity has been doing incredible work with free British Sign Language interpretation. They have applied to the DHSC for grant funding which is desperately needed to make sure the service can continue through any second wave.
