Recess has been a great opportunity to catch up with a wide range of local organisations and I was pleased to go to Kimbridge Barn with Business South for their Lady Leaders lunch at the start of August.
We had a very varied discussion, ranging from diversity and inclusion topics, to transport planning and how to make sure the Central South region benefits from economic growth.
There was also a lot of concern raised about skills gaps, and it was useful to have representatives of colleges and universities there, alongside some significant local employers and apprenticeship providers.
